suavecitation: Body Cheetah’s, “French Chicks” takes one to a place where few have ever been. That place is somewhere between 80’s hip-hop, punk, and dance. Squealing synthesizers drive this EP and rattle the listener around for a bit while listeners are simultaneously rapped at. While this music isn’t for everyone, I feel it has a place in contemporary music culture, this band might do well opening for Chromeo. The two highlights of the EP are “On The Fucking Prowl” and “Circle of Fifths” (for you music theorists).
